Sucks for him, but at least he doesn’t have to play for the hoodie now.

Matthews signed a one-year deal in April with $170,000 in guaranteed money, so he at least walks away with a nice chunk of change. He caught 25 balls for 282 yards and a touchdown with Buffalo last season. He had three 800 yard receiving years in Philadelphia and reeled in 19 touchdowns.

Looks like the Pats might replace him with free agent Eric Decker, who recently visited the team.
