Report: Mike Wallace Potentially Done for Year

Per Adam Schefter:
Eagles' WR Mike Wallace, spotted in a walking boot after Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay, suffered a potentially season-ending ankle injury, per sources. He is undergoing further testing today to determine specific ankle injury, but he is out indefinitely.

Well isn’t that nice.
Earlier in the morning, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo and Tom Pelissero tweeted he would be out for “a while.”
Wallace was on a one-year deal and impressed during training camp and was looked as a potential deep threat. He made a catch early in the first quarter, his first as an Eagle, and got injured on the play. But was called back due to a Jason Peters penalty.
He was carted off the field after trying to walk on it on the sideline.
With Wallace potentially done for the year, here are the active wide receivers:
- Nelson Agholor (the only starter)
- Shelton Gibson
- Kamar Aiken (who the Eagles signed again last week)
- DeAndre Carter
Alshon Jeffery is still recovering from offseason shoulder surgery and Mack Hollins is on IR. It’s obvious the team needs at least another wide receiver. Markus Wheaton? Jeremy Maclin? Kenny Britt? Josh Gordon? Dez Bryant?
