Former Phillie Dan Meyer Thinks Antonio Bastardo is an Asshole for Beating Him Out for a Roster Spot in 2011

And what a big asshole it must be.
Dan Meyer was signed by the Phillies in November of 2010 and then released on April 3, 2011. He took to Twitter today to express his disgust towards Antonio Bastardo for beating him out for a bullpen spot.
He has every reason to be mad. But, Meyer may want to channel his anger towards his 6.75 ERA and 1.88 WHIP in limited Spring Training action that year rather than Bastardo and his centaurian ass.
The following season, Meyer posted a 7.45 ERA with the Pirates’ AAA affiliate. He’s no longer in baseball.
