I feel like we need a quick break from the Bryce Harper stuff.

Jimmy Butler went on the Posted Up Podcast with Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports this week. He discussed a variety of topics, mostly individual stuff and less about the Sixers.

Haynes did ask about pending free agency, which Butler said he wasn’t really focused on. Haynes also asked about the Sixers’ ceiling and what Butler is learning about his new squad:

That we can be so good and be equally as bad. Because I think that too much of any good thing is a bad thing. And the second we decide that we have that much talent that we’re gonna be able to cruise through this thing, it’s gonna be a sad story for the 76ers. But – I will say that we don’t have guys who think like that. We have guys who want everybody to be great. We have guys who want to win, and pay attention, and want to learn, and they’re asking all of the right questions. That’s the best part about the young group of guys that we have. We’re in it together and we’re paying attention to stuff. We make a lot of mistakes, me being the leader of the mistake makers. But when somebody makes a mistake, you talk to them about it. You might get into an argument and you might start cussing each other out, but at the end of the day, the end of the timeout, end of practice, we’re together. We win together, we lose together, and we’re gonna move on from it together.
