Rough year for John Wall.

The Wizards guard, who was already out for the year with a heel injury, ruptured his Achilles after falling in his home recently.

Here’s the notice Washington sent to media:

So the Sixers connection here is straightforward. Does this news change Washington’s trade deadline plans? Wall is set to earn the following over the next four years:

• 2019-20: $38.2 million
• 2020-21: $41.2 million
• 2021-22: $44.3 million
• 2022-23: $47.3 million

They can’t do anything with him right now, so do they move Bradley Beal? Otto Porter?
