Mike Francesa Approves of the Joe Flacco Trade

Mike Francesa, who retired for something like 10 minutes before returning to WFAN, is giving the Joe Flacco trade the seal of approval.
I personally did not really “get” it, since Flacco is 34 years old and coming off a hip injury. His numbers have declined over the last three seasons, but the Broncos are giving a shot, sending Baltimore a 4th round pick for the former Super Bowl winner.

I think Elway knows he can win with Flacco, and you know what? The people who.. for some reason the internet hates Flacco. Okay? But that’s a bunch of 16 year olds that don’t know anything about football. The bottom line is, the guy who just traded for him knows a little bit about playing quarterback in the NFL. He was okay at it, okay? I can tell those guys that never saw him play that he wasn’t okay at it, he was one of the all-time greats at it. When he wants to pick a quarterback, I pay attention. He knows what a quarterback looks like. Back after this.
This is true. John Elway does know a good quarterback when he sees one. He drafted Brock Osweiler and Trevor Siemian. He moved up to get Paxton Lynch in the first round. He also signed Case Keenum to a $36 million, two-year deal.
I’m like Mike Francesa. When John Elway wants to pick a quarterback, I pay attention.
