Zero Sixers Starters Will Play Tonight

At least they’re getting needed rest.
Here’s the 1:30 p.m. injury report:
This will ensure that the Sixers’ starting five enters the postseason having played just 10 games together.
They did go 8-2 in those games, posting a 17.6 net rating in 161 minutes on the floor together.
For context, there were 28 available games for this unit to play after the Tobias Harris trade was completed. 10 of 28 possible games is 35.7%, so the starting five was only on the floor together on a little more than 1/3rd of the available nights.
Let’s hope the time off gets these guys on the same page, because we’re sliding into the playoffs with little cohesion and little depth on the bench.
Here’s more on Ben’s “dental procedure,” as an FYI:
For those that didn’t know, Ben Simmons got hit hard in their game in ATL 6 nights ago, legit lost a tooth.
Went to the dentist the next morning. Played in Milwaukee game the next day.
Got hit AGAIN tonight in the first Q, tooth came out 😳 Went back in the game. Tough, man.
