The Security Guard Ezekiel Elliott Shoved Is Thinking About Pressing Charges

Remember this story from last week?

It was Ezekiel Elliott at a Las Vegas music festival, handcuffed and detained after shouldering a security guard and knocking him into a barricade. Zeke had been arguing with his girlfriend beforehand, using his body to keep her from walking away but not actually putting his hands on her.

Elliott was not arrested, though the security guard involved in the incident now says he’s considering pressing charges.

Here’s a short package from CBS 2 in Los Angeles, after the jump:

Zeke clearly shoves the dude, 19-year-old Kyle Johnson, who plays football at Orange Coast College and was working this gig on the side to make money.

Johnson did not press charges at the time:

“I didn’t want to make a rash decision that soon without evaluating it further. I mean, it was three in the morning, I was shocked.”

….

“I wasn’t hurt or anything but to have someone that you looked up to shove you on the ground over a metal fence? It’s not the biggest thing in the world … but (to say that) nothing happened? I mean, come on.”

People were giving me shit last week because I said I didn’t think this was a big deal, but ask yourself this – if you were barely shoved into a metal barricade, fell over, and were uninjured, would you file charges? Probably not.

Zeke’s lawyers need to throw this kid some cash and then we can all move on with our lives.
