Tobias Harris Reportedly Withdraws from World Cup Training Camp

Keith had Shams beat by about 15 minutes:
.@tobias31 will continue to focus on preparing for the upcoming #Sixers season and as such, will not participate with USA Basketball this summer.

With Tobias reportedly pulling out, Jonah Bolden is currently the only 76er appearing on a FIBA World Cup roster (Australia). Ben Simmons last week decided not to participate in the tournament, which begins in China in late August and carries into mid-September, about one week before NBA training camps begin.
There have been a ton of withdrawals from NBA players in recent days. Anthony Davis, James Harden, Eric Gordon, C.J. McCollum, and Bradley Beal have all pulled out. Of the remaining players, the top talent is probably Damian Lillard, though it’s not like we as a basketball country are short on possible replacements for the aforementioned guys. Shams says Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown are being discussed as possible candidates.
