Britain Covey limited with a hamstring. That’s alright. I just need him to stand still and wave for a fair catch. He doesn’t need to do anything other than that, and typically gets immediately crushed when he tries to return the ball anyway, so let’s just play it safe and conservative in the punt return game.
The Birds are good to go otherwise. Avonte Maddox and Lane Johnson aren’t going to be 100%, but they’re both super-important in their respect roles. Maddox being healthy allows CJGJ to play safety and work in and out of the slot when necessary. That’s gonna be one of the key things to watch for on Sunday, how the Birds defend Travis Kelce and whomever else is lined up inside.
