Corey Clement Will Become a Free Agent

The Birds decided not to tender, as expected:
#Eagles will not place RFA tender on RB Corey Clement.
Clement is scheduled to become a free agent at 4 pm on Wednesday.

Clement was banged up and not very productive following his rookie season, but holy cow, what a year that was.
He put up 324 rushing yards and four touchdowns while catching 10 balls for 123 yards and two scores. He caught four passes for 100 yards and a TD in the Super Bowl, leading the Birds in receiving on the strength of that 55-yard bomb.
Corey could certainly return to the Eagles, but I’m not sure why they’d bother bringing him back at this point. We’ll always have this to remember:
