Let me briefly explain that mumbo-jumbo above: A couple of readers had been asking how exactly we got from Nick Foles to Carson Wentz. It’s not quite as highway-robbery laden as the Hinkie chart – by the nature of the sport – but here’s what the Eagles started with:

- Byron Maxwell
- LeSean McCoy
- 2015 Draft Picks
- 2nd, 4th, and 5th
- 2016 Draft picks
- 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th
- 2017 1st round pick
- 2018 2nd round pick
And here’s what they ended up with:
- 2017 1st round pick
- 2017 4th round pick
- Two conditional 2018 4th round picks
- Carson Wentz
- Josh Kline*
And I’m spent.
