Kevin Harlan’s Black Cat Play-by-Play Was Fantastic

The Giants didn’t do the Eagles any favors last night. They lost at home to the Cowboys.

Maybe the most enjoyable part of the game was when a cat ran onto the field and just sort of stayed there, then play-by-play guy Kevin Harlan decided to have some fun with it and treated us to this:

“That is a touchdown! And the cat is elusive… kind of like Barkley and Elliott. But he doesn’t know where to go. They’re trying to corner him. They got him in the end zone. There are state troopers all around this cat, which now climbs up into the stands. And the fans are running for their lives.. Now it goes back onto the field again.. It’s running in the back of the end zone. And it runs up the tunnel.”

Nice job by the cat, good entertainment there. Certainly better than stoppage, flag, flag, commercial, then a review, then another flag, followed by a commercial.
