The Legend of Dick Mahoney Has Spread

It’s hard to imagine the world before we knew about Dick Mahoney. How did we enjoy life? Sports? Did we smile? But he is now bigger than just a softball player. He’s larger than the Batman to Walter Thurmond’s Bruce Wayne. His legend has spread.
Everywhere from the New York Daily News, Yahoo, SB Nation, NFL.com, MSN (still exists!), the Big Lead, ESPN, the San Francisco Examiner (who very kindly refered to us as Crossing Board), and a Boomer Esiason sports update shared the legend. CSN even spoke to Mahoney’s representative, Thurmond:

When he's not writing about sports here or ranting about them on Twitter, Jim is probably watching X-Files on Netflix or drinking a beer somewhere. Jim has nothing against hockey, it's just not his style. He once met Duce Staley at a Sixers game.
