Report: Phillies Fire Gabe Kapler (Now Official)

According to Jim Salisbury:
The Phillies have dismissed Gabe Kapler
— Jim Salisbury (@JimSalisbury215) October 10, 2019
I’ll update this thread with more info. Right now he’s the only one reporting it, but I believe him!
Edit 1:
Brookover reporting –
A baseball source has told the Philadelphia Inquirer that Gabe Kapler will not return as manager.
— Bob Brookover (@brookob) October 10, 2019
So they left Kapler hanging for 11 days before firing him. And if Matt Klentak and Andy MacPhail are sticking around, it should be interesting how they spin that story, because those guys didn’t exactly light the world on fire this season.
Edit 2:
Zolecki reporting –
Can confirm that Gabe Kapler will not return as #Phillies manager.

Edit 3:
Here are the official statements –
— Philadelphia Phillies (@Phillies) October 10, 2019
Chris Young confirmation in there. Charlie Manuel back to the advisor role.
Edit 4:
Angelo Cataldi acting like a jackass (shocking) –
Going to see my dad at rehab with the big guy and I’m greeted like this when I open my car door! 😂😂 #Phillies pic.twitter.com/rU8jcfaZ3z
