The Washington Nationals are getting some deserved mockery from Phillies fans on Twitter after they tweeted out a jawn that showed they have zero idea how to use “jawn.”

You see, jawn needs context. It’s a total catch-all, but it doesn’t work without some background. For example, let’s try to translate:
“I got that jawn.” – No idea.
“I been walking around throwing one of them jawns at one of them flamey dudes but the jawn won’t get him.” – I have been having trouble catching a Charizard in the mobile game Pokemon Go.
“Dude they couldn’t even fill their own jawn and had to change the rules so we wouldn’t fill their jawn.” – The Nationals had to change their own ticket rules so Phillies fans wouldn’t fill their ballpark.
See? It’s not hard.
