Joel Embiid and Bill Vargus are Going to be in a Jolly Rancher Commercial

When we last heard from former Fox29 sports anchor Bill “Billy V” Vargus, he was recovering from emergency heart surgery. When we last heard from Joel Embiid, his knee was sore. And now, because 2017 is shaping up to be even weirder than 2016, Billy V and Joel Embiid will share the screen in a Jolly Rancher commercial. From Billy V’s Facebook page:
Just finished shooting a TV commercial with 76ers star Joel Embiid. I get to berate him terribly during the commercial, but really I admire him. Nice guy. Only been playing basketball for 8 years and can do things no other 7-footer has ever done. The commercial is for Jolly Rancher candies and it’s hilarious.
If I had to guess which commercial would’ve been Embiid’s first, I’d have gone with Adidas…or grenadine. Jolly Rancher had 5,000/1 odds.
