On Saturday night, the Sixers embarrassed the Lakers 108-91 despite the absence of starters Joel Embiid and Josh Richardson. Just when you thought you could account for all of the L’s dished out to LeBron and AD, Academy Award-nominated director M. Night Shyamalan took to Twitter to call out “The Brow”:
Got a black eye when Anthony Davis of the Lakers ran into me and my wife at the @sixers game. No apology from him. Don’t want one. I’ll take a black eye for every win we get! Go Philly! Can’t wait for next game I attend. #sixersfans pic.twitter.com/AqrOfopJhU

M. Night Shyamalan is a true hardworking blue-collar Philadelphian. He’s not some elitist white-collar, avocado-toast-eating California fraud. This man took a black eye from one of the most overrated players in the entire league like a boss. If AD thought he was lucky that he didn’t have to get dominated by Embiid last night, he should count his lucky stars that Shyamalan is a stand-up gent. One man’s opinion: AD should be brought to public court to be tried for his crime against a Philadelphia institution.
