Hollywood Casino Sparks Revenue Growth For Pennsylvania Gaming In September

Pennsylvania gaming saw a 5.9% increase in revenue in September compared to a year prior with Hollywood Casino leading the charge.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported the state’s casinos tallied $535.8 million in total gaming revenue last month, besting September 2024’s total of $505.9 million by nearly $30 million.
Hollywood Casino, which holds four different casino locations in the Keystone State, played a key role. Altogether, the four Hollywood Casino operators produced $136.0 million of the total revenue, which equates to 25.4% for Pennsylvania.
Online Casino Revenue Leads the Way for HC
Three of the four Hollywood Casino locations in Pennsylvania had year-over-year increases in gaming revenue. In September, they produced:
- Hollywood Casino at Penn National: $101.6 million, up 23.1%
- Hollywood Casino at the Meadows: $17.8 million, down 38.4%
- Hollywood Casino York: $8.4 million, up 1.4%
- Hollywood Casino Morgantown: $8.2 million, up 3.6%
