Over on Kalshi they have an interesting event involving the next NFL coach fired. One of the juiciest trades involves ex-defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon who helped lead a unit in 2022 to the Super Bowl before taking the Cardinals job. Now I still think the reports of him having more focus on his next gig than the impending Super Bowl are some of the dumbest things a reporter has ever written in this city, especially after reports of Kellen Moore becoming the Saints coach leaked BEFORE Super Bowl 59, but if it still sticks in your crawl you can at least make some money on him being canned. Especially because the Cardinals are a dumpster fire right now. A $100 trade would pay out $527:

Live look at your bank account:

Right now Raheem Morris is the favorite to next on the unemployment line. I don’t see it, especially with Michael Penix Jr. now on the shelf and Kirk Cousins coming in. Are they really going to let Morris go after two seasons after bringing him back for a second stint? Do you know how bad those optics look? Mike McDaniel is also a sexy pick, but it seems like Stephen Ross will keep him around after firing Chris Grier. The Browns organization seems to have Kevin Stefanski’s back and looks forward to him selecting the two first round picks in the 2026 draft. Gannon on the other hand is already answering questions about being on the hot seat:

Gannon is 15-29 over four seasons with one more year left on his contract. He’s never finished higher than third in the NFC West and it’s not going to happen this season. He’s also not winning anyone over on that team after he undressed running back Emari Demarcado and was fined $100k for shoving him:

The Cardinals have the Jaguars, Bucs, Rams (twice), Texans, Falcons and Bengals to end the season. That’s at least four more losses and honestly Raheem Morris vs. Jonathan Gannon should be a “Loser Leaves Town Match”. I’ve got my sheckles on Gannon getting the pink slip next.
