Here’s A.J. Brown clarifying his answer from Thursday night, when he was asked about a meeting between him, Jalen Hurts, and Saquon Barkley, which was first reported by Jimmy Kempski:

Here’s the question from last night:

When Saquon Barkley was asked about it he wouldn’t give details only to confirm there was a meeting:

I don’t even know what to say at this point. The most boring soap opera in the world is in the Eagles locker room. We’re not even getting any juicy details. It’s all closed door meetings, speculation about Brown’s happiness, and canned quotes from Hurts. Which I guess in some cases is good? Maybe there can be a turnaround? I just don’t understand how this gets better at this point after how the offense looked in MetLife. There is obvious friction six weeks in. Without a drastic coaching change or a player involved being moved, how is any Eagles fan supposed to have confidence anything will improve? Til then we’ll just have reports to recklessly speculate on again. Kind of feeling like 2023 isn’t it? Fun times!

Kinkead: I don’t give a FUCK about any of this. There was A.J. Brown drama last season and they got it sorted and won the Super Bowl. All involved parties need to stop being weird and figure it out.
