A Very Dan Snyder-ish Report that Washington’s Front Office is “Meddling” with the Coaching Staff

Quick pivot here to laugh at the Commanders, who fired both of their coordinators, Kliff Kingsbury and Joe Whitt Jr. –

“With the team struggling this year, it reached new heights and there were notable disagreements. Moreover, I have not gotten the impression Dan Quinn wanted to move on from his coordinators. The entire disconnect is one to watch as we head into 2026. ‘There’s a lot of shit going on there,’ a source said.”

Who’s running the show down there, Dan Snyder? Heyo!

Surely Adam Peters will go out and fix this by handing one-year contracts to a bunch of 35-year-olds. Demario Davis is almost 37. Maybe you go out and sign him and then offer Calais Campbell. Bang! Holes patched, problem solved.

From the Commie-friendly media side, it seems like the story is that this was more of a dispute between Kingsbury and Dan Quinn, and not necessarily Quinn and the front office. There are a bunch of Josh Harris jokes being made on Philly Twitter, fair enough, but the report doesn’t mention anything about ownership. It talks about the front office.

Regardless, there’s a bunch of chatter that they should go out and get the freshly-fired Mike McDaniel to replace Kingsbury, which seems like a good move. McDaniel could do a lot worse than working with Jayden Daniels in a division that only has one good team (the Eagles).

Whatever’s going on behind the scenes in the swamp, the Commies are learning that franchise building is tough. It takes collaboration, concession, and the right mix of people who are on the same page. Sometimes we forget how good we have it with Howie Roseman, Nick Sirianni, Jeffrey Lurie, and the consistency in culture that emanates from NovaCare.
