Adam Schefter Puts the Kibosh on Deshaun Watson to the Eagles (Or Does He?)
By Kyle Pagan

Adam Schefter was doing his regularly scheduled appearance on John Kincade’s 97.5 the Fanatic show. He was outright asked if Deshaun Watson to the Eagles was even in consideration:
"No reason to check in, nothing to see here, we can move on" – @AdamSchefter on Eagles & Watson.

There it is. He’s not coming here. We can all move on (we’re not going to move on until he signs somewhere else). Later in the day, former Eagle Barrett Brooks though says he’s got sources high up in the organization that are bringing up Deshaun is a “done deal” in casual conversation:
“The source I heard this from is tied-in, & I mean tied-in to the organization.”
“I would say it’s around 90% that it could happen. This came up in a casual conversation and it went as far as saying this is a done deal, the Eagles want Watson that bad.”https://t.co/CpX5Xke1yR

If turning the NFL upside down and onto its head is coming up in casual conversation, what kind of conversation is Barrett having on the regular?
Then we have Benjamin Allbright who mentioned there is a mystery team lurking with a “huge offer” –
Could a mystery team be lurking to swoop in with a huge offer on Deshaun Watson?
(Not SF, wrong coast)

Now who could make a huge offer on the East Coast? The Eagles, Giants, Dolphins, or Lions? Those are the only teams who have multiple 1st round picks and not a clear quarterback of the future. My gut tells me Ben could be talking about the Giants. The Giants have been too quiet through all of this. They have two top 10 picks and a weapon or two they could trade. The Texans want three firsts and a player. Deshaun Watson wants warm weather or a major market. It makes too much sense and nothing could be worse.
