After Regular Season Loss, Ryan Clark Learned that Dak Prescott “Can Show Up in Championship Moments”

Once again, Dak Prescott is the best player on the field in a Dallas loss. Here’s a take:
“What we learned is that Dak Prescott can show up in championship moments. That Dak Prescott isn’t going to be the reason this team doesn’t have an opportunity to win a ring.”

Yeah look, Dak played well. 29 for 44, 374 yards, three touchdowns on the road. It was a close game with a couple of Eagles stops right at the goal line to keep Dallas off the board.
HOWEVER –
What’s also true is that the Cowboys scored six points in the second half. They got inside the 10 multiple times and came away with nothing, as shown on the ESPN graphic. Dak threw short of the sticks and stepped out of play on a crucial two-point conversion while being chased by 35-year-old Brandon Graham. He threw for Jalen Tolbert on 4th and 8 and took a handful of bad 4th quarter sacks. That’s why the premise of “what we learned” about Dak is flimsy. We didn’t learn anything we didn’t already know about a 30-year-old quarterback with two Wild Card wins. Dak is who we thought he was. This is what he always will be.
