Ahead of Eagles Rematch, D.C. Television Station Runs an Entire Story on the Fake Punt from 32-Point NFC Title Game Loss

Can we be honest with each other? Last year’s NFC Championship was such a beatdown I forgot this play even happened:
It’s never a good sign when you have to say the fake punt that led to a field goal was one of the most exciting plays for your team in an NFC Championship game that you lost by 32 points.
And listen, I’m not going to shit on the sports guy at WUSA9. The Commies season has gone off the rails and this game doesn’t mean anything for them. His bosses told him he’s gotta find some kind of angle for this week so they can run a package on the 5 o’clock news in between Proctor & Gamble ads and he chose the only highlight from last year’s game. I’m sure Kinker has plenty of stories of bullshit packages he had to edit from Eyewitness News or his time spent in Augusta. That’s just life in legacy media. Luckily for us we don’t have to answer to the FCC and can take a 31-0 ass-whooping and turn it into unbelievable entertainment thanks in large part to Eagles fans:
Michael Clay better have his unit ready for the fake this Saturday. The Commies haven’t run a fake all season. Head on a swivel. No time like the present.
