Andy Reid Gives Angelo Cataldi the Biggest Backhanded Compliment

This made me laugh:
Angelo Cataldi is retiring after 33 years on WIP. His final show will be on Friday, Feb. 17th. 🐐
We received some amazing congratulatory videos from big names across the Philadelphia sports world, past and present.
Here is a congrats to Angelo thread starting with ANDY REID👇 pic.twitter.com/zoVrGs90f9

“Your shtick was something really special. I know you’re very intelligent and it took a lot of work to do that.”
That’s a polite way of calling Angelo a total fraud, which he is. Andy Reid knew it was all an acting job, even if the dumbest portion of Philadelphia sports fans had no idea. I’m just surprised they got Big Red to say anything at all, since Angelo spent the better part of 20 years obliterating Reid for what he deemed “reprehensible behavior” and whatnot.
Anyway, it’s almost over. Angelo retires tomorrow. Praise be.
