OHHHHH YEAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! SNAP INTO A SLIM JIM. IT WOULDN’T BE FOOTBALL SEASON IN PHILADELPHIA WITHOUT A QUARTERBACK CONTROVERSY.

Let’s throw gas on some innocent-looking smoke wafting through the air, because I love starting shit… and so does Andy Reid. Maybe.

Eagles reporters, fresh off a cross-country flight, dutifully asked Big Red today if the Eagles would make a change at quarterback. The response:

“Right now we're with Michael and that's what we're doing. We'll evaluate it as we go.”

Two weeks ago that question would have been met with a “Michael is our quarterback, a laugh, or “no.”

The scriptuals hopped all over it:

A QB controversy? No. Not yet. We’ll have to evaluate as we go.
