Baldy Doing Some Tweeting and Deleting on Lane Johnson’s Playoff Injury Status

Good pull here from Anthony DiBona. This is from Anthony Gargano’s show on PHLY:

A short time later, Baldy tweeted “Lane is playing,” then deleted it:

The only follow ups are a couple of replies to fans in which Baldy says: “i never said he isn’t (playing) nobody is doing more to make it happen than Lane.” That doesn’t exactly match what he said on Gargano’s show, does it? And then he deleted the correction anyway.

This is kind of an odd one, because the reporting initially suggested that Johnson would be good to go in Week 17 or 18. Obviously the Eagles ended up resting the starters after the Buffalo win, so it rendered the Washington game null and void, but it’s been about seven weeks since the Lisfranc injury from the mid-November Lions game. Johnson is practicing today, Wednesday, for the first time since going down, so we’ll learn a lot more coming up in a few hours.
