Ben Johnson had the Dumbest Tush Push Take

Watched this a few times thinking that Bears head coach Ben Johnson was joking around, but I don’t think he is:
“Does it become an explosive play ever?“
No lol. It’s not supposed to be an explosive play. It was designed to gain one yard on the ground.
“I like big plays.” Of course the finesse guy says that. Maybe he doesn’t think that touchdowns and first downs are “big plays.” Sometimes you scheme up a bit of brilliance in the passing game, but what’s also effective is when your offensive line steamrolls a bunch of fools to put Jalen Hurts into the end zone for six. Maybe Ben Johnson’s idea of a “big play” is to have Jared Goff go empty set at the goal line and then throw a pick. At least they tried to make it look cool! Ask Pete Carroll if the Seahawks should have thrown a slant instead of handing the ball to Marshawn Lynch in the Super Bowl.
Chicago Bears 5-12 this season. Hammer the under. Ben Johnson:
