Big V has only started 20 games in four regular seasons, plus four playoff starts. Is he worth $10 million a year? Probably not, but it goes to show you how valuable offensive tackles are. And Detroit can play him at guard if they need to or want to. I’m sure the Super Bowl run really helped his value, and he’s only 27 years old to boot. If Jason Peters can play until the age of 74, then Big V has a lot of good years left in him.
