But either Russ was snoozing or didn’t listen to the most recent episode yet, because he missed a comical local radio reference. Courtesy of @JoeFedorowicz, here’s Simmons referring to Charles Barkley’s recent comments on “The Mike Massanelli Show” –
The Mike Massanelli Show? Sounds like Bill Simmons needs to GOOGLE Mike’s name.

Maybe these guys just stumbled a bit, and you give them the benefit of the doubt, but it would not surprise me if it was revealed that they were purposefully butchering these names as a diss. I am not ALLEGING that they are doing this, just thinking out loud here.
