Brandon Brooks is a Go For Sunday’s Season Opener

Nick Sirianni spoke to the media a short time ago and offered this Week 1 injury update:
Head coach Nick Sirianni says OG Brandon Brooks will play on Sunday and that S Rodney McLeod and OL Landon Dickerson will be out for the opener.#FlyEaglesFly

Great news. Brooks had been limited in practice this week but is now officially cleared to play in his first game since the 2019 season. The Eagles will have their entire starting offensive line of Jordan Mailata, Isaac Seumalo, Jason Kelce, Brooks, and Lane Johnson.
Keep in mind, when the Eagles began the 2020 campaign, the following guys were not available for WEEK ONE:
- RT Johnson
- RG Brooks
- RB Miles Sanders
- DE Derek Barnett
- DT Javon Hargrave
- LT Andre Dillard
- WR Alshon Jeffery
- S Will Parks
- WR Quez Watkins
It was insane.
But this season, McLeod is the only absentee starter, as he recovers from ACL surgery. He and Dickerson were both recently activated to the 53-man roster so it’s only a matter of time before they find their way onto the field.
