Brandon Brooks Takes Out a Full-Page Inquirer Ad to Thank Pretty Much Everybody

Brandon Brooks announced his retirement on Wednesday and today took out a full-page Inquirer ad to say thanks to anybody he could think of.
He’s the ad in its entirety:
Class act, Brandon Brooks. Three Pro Bowls and a Super Bowl during his Eagles tenure. He was every bit as good as Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson during his time here, and if it was longer, we’d be talking about all three in the same way, like that revered GOAT type of status.
It’s a shame injuries cut short Brooks’ career, but man, when he was on, nobody played the position better than he did. Even without a long Philly run, he’s still one of the best guards to ever wear midnight green. Maybe we gotta do an official ranking and see where he stacks up compared to guys like Jermane Mayberry, Todd Herremans, Evan Mathis, and Shawn Andrews. His best was probably better than those guys’ best, but that’s a really solid group there.
Anyway, later today on the site, I’ll give you my Mount Rushmore of Brandon Brooks tweets.
