Brandon Lee Gowton Leaves BGN for Birds 24/7

It was only a few days ago that we found out Tim McManus would be leaving PhillyMag’s Birds 24/7 behind to head off to ESPN. Today, we know his replacement.
Bleeding Green Nation’s Brandon Lee Gowton, who is as tall as he is good at his job*, will be making the jump from BGN to Philly Mag starting September 6th. In a post on BGN, Gowton said that while he’s leaving BGN as Editor-in-chief, he’s staying on with the BGN Radio crew as they move to WIP this fall. You can of course listen to BGN Radio in the all-new Liberty Podcasts app.
*He’s so, so tall.
When he's not writing about sports here or ranting about them on Twitter, Jim is probably watching X-Files on Netflix or drinking a beer somewhere. Jim has nothing against hockey, it's just not his style. He once met Duce Staley at a Sixers game.
