This should put to bed the idea that Purdy was being a pussy and should have gutted it out. The guy literally could not throw anything other than screens because he tore his Ulnar Collateral Ligament, and now will not be ready for action until late July or early August.

It makes you wonder if Kyle Shanahan should have just gone to Christian McCaffrey or someone else at QB and tried to at least work from some kind of wildcat package. When you lose four quarterbacks in one season, it is what it is, but they had to put a guy back into the game who could not throw at all, and so they could have at least swapped him out for an extra blocker instead of wasting one of their 11 field players on a dude who could do nothing other than hand it off.

Anyway, consensus seems to be that the Eagles win that game even with Purdy playing the entire time, but we can confirm that the guy is not soft.
