Cade York had two chances to win on Thursday night after a fugazi Eagles penalty turned a 47 yarder into a 41 yard chance. He missed both attempts:

Woof.
People are already calling for his head in Cleveland and shanking it twice in preseason crunch time ain’t making the boos die down any sooner. What might be the final nail in the coffin is the fact that he was on Instagram during halftime sharing his highlights from the Browns:
Cade York reposted this on Instagram at HALFTIME during tonight's game.
Hey Cade I hate to trouble you, but would you mind spending less time on social media and more time focusing on the game at least until, you know, the game is over? #Browns pic.twitter.com/p3z6MuIlO3

Now obviously whether he shares the post during or after the game has no significant bearing on whether he hits that field goal. I’m sure if he hits it this story isn’t even a blip on our radar. The story is, “Cade York: Preseason Hero.” But the fact he missed turns the story into “he’s not focused enough on the game.” Cutthroat league. There’s also the part where the NFL doesn’t allow players to use social media during games and his pockets will get a little lighter in the process.
