Sour grapes out of the NBC news affiliate in Dallas. They couldn’t just put the first couple of minutes exclusively on Peacock?

Whoever manages the local news/programming in Dallas for the NBC affiliate should be fired IMMEDIATELY. They just interrupted the last 2 minutes of the Lions vs. Rams for a weather warning about .5 inches of snow that isn’t collecting on the roads and gave a 2 day forecast.

Everyone in Dallas should’ve had to watch the final snaps of that game after the refs stole one in Jerry’s World a couple weeks before. What’s so special about the special report? It’s cold? Not a tornado, not a foot of snow. People in Dallas didn’t catch the amazing shots of the Lions fans crying in the crowd because it was cold? The guy who runs the joint over there in the control room probably still had his Dak Prescott jersey on upset he had to come into work after an ass whooping. Doesn’t get better than that.

Hold on though! Even the rival weatherman took a shot at NBC?!? Is the weather game in Dallas this cutthroat? Channel 8 giving NBC the business for cutting the game. That’s just good natured shit talking right there. I am a Channel 8 guy for life!

They just embody the American spirit. Gritty, tough, underdogs that nobody wanted. It’s going to be amazing when the Birds knock them off next week. Lets admit it, last night was their Super Bowl.
