Can’t Blame the Eagles for Not Knowing When They Play, Because They’re Scheduled for Everything But Tuesday and Wednesday

This was a funny clip from after Sunday’s game in the Eagles locker room:
The Eagles play Saturday vs. the Commies. That will now have them playing on five out of the seven days of the week this season. They started the year on Thursday night and faced off against the Giants on TNF later in the year. They played the Chicago Bears on Black Friday. They played primarily Sundays of course, and the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Chargers on Monday. The Eagles will not have to suit up on a Tuesday or Wednesday barring a catastrophic weather-related incident or global pandemic. And if they do have to play on Tuesday it better not be because of a little snow or Governor Josh Shapiro has to recreate this rant:
It’s been a tough schedule for the Birds. Constant short weeks, primetime games galore, a top-10 strength of schedule according to ESPN, and no back-to-back home game. It doesn’t pay to be Super Bowl Champs, huh?
