QGannon was canned by Arizona:

Gannon finished with 15 wins and 36 losses. No playoff appearances in a tough division with the Rams, Niners, and Seahawks.

What was the point of taking that job in the first place? They didn’t have much talent at all. They had Trey McBride and James Conner and Budda Baker and that’s about it. Kyler Murray showed some glimpses here and there, like he typically does, but they aren’t winning anything meaningful until they jettison him and find a franchise quarterback out there in the desert. Does anybody think Jacoby Brissett is the guy? Probably not. He had a good statistical year, but he’s not QB1 on a playoff team. The Cardinals draft third in April and that means they don’t have a shot at Fernando Mendoza or Dante Moore if they go 1/2 to the Raiders and Jets.

Where do we think Gannon goes? Cowboys’ defensive coordinator? That would really complete the heel turn if they fired Matt Eberflus and hired J.G. Maybe there’s a landing spot in his native Cleveland. At least we’ll always have the “we’re gonna fucking gut these guys” game to look back on.
