In 13 games last season, second-year quarterback Carson Wentz threw for 3,296 and 33 touchdowns on his way to leading the Eagles to an 11-2 record before tearing his ACL in Los Angeles back in early December. While Wentz wasn’t on the field for two of the team’s most memorable wins in franchise history, a 38-7 rout of the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship Game and a dramatic 41-33 win over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 52, it appears that players around the league didn’t forget just how good he is.

Wentz was voted by his peers as the league’s third best player on the NFL Top 100 list. You can check out the segment after the jump.

While players around the league seem to be pretty high on Wentz, apparently former NFL quarterback David Carr wasn’t impressed with his performance last season. Check out his list of the league’s top quarterbacks ahead of the 2018 season. Wentz is noticeably absent from the list, but his brother, Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, is slotted in at No. 4.

That may be good for the Carr family brand, but it’s definitely not so good for his credibility as a football analyst.
