Chip is Vague on Kiko Alonso, Says He’s Not Yet Ruled Out for Sunday

From “out for the year” to “might need surgery” to “missing a few weeks” to “eh, who knows?”. We’ve heard a lot about Kiko Alonso’s status in the past few days, but none of it has been definitive. And now, Chip Kelly is being as vague as he can about Alonso’s status, saying his status is “uncertain” for this week and they’re still not sure what he can and cannot do. Is he done for the year? A few weeks? Basically fine? We don’t know. But one thing is for sure with Chip: Nothing is for sure. Oh, except the Pope messing with their plans. The Eagles will stage their exodus early this week and practice on Friday and Saturday at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ.
Only fleeing the Pope can make people want to spend extra time in North Jersey.
