Oh?
I’m getting the feeling #eagles CB Sidney Jones will be activated and play on Sunday against #cowboys. @SportsRadioWIP

Call it a hunch, but I think Sidney Jones will be active and play on Sunday vs. Cowboys.

HC Doug Pederson: “I want all the starters to play.” DE Brandon Graham “chances are” he probably won’t play. “A possibility”CB Sidney Jones plays. Decision tomorrow

This would be a pleasant surprise to end the season.
Earlier in the month when Jones returned to practice, defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz said it was “like the first weeks of OTAs” for the second round pick after suffering a torn Achilles tendon in March. It’s been about nine months since suffering the injury.
Jones was a potential top 10 pick in the NFL Draft before he got hurt. He slipped to the second round where the Eagles grabbed him with the 43rd overall pick.
Doug Pederson said they’ll make a decision after practicing today and tomorrow.

I wouldn’t mind him being active or playing on Sunday, and it would help him in his development as a player. The biggest plus in activating Jones would be the extra practice time he would get, especially with the Eagles getting a first round bye.
The Eagles reportedly have until January 3 to activate him off IR. They would need to cut one player to make room for him.
