Let’s check in on our NFC East rivals:

“Nothing to see here,” said Jerry Jones, who reportedly instructed Cowboys brass to give Williams a contract extension.
“Under the NFL’s personal conduct policy, Williams is subject to a fine or suspension for the incident. The Cowboys are aware of the arrest but have declined comment.
According to police, the controlled substance charge is for another substance — not for possession of marijuana — and is a state jail felony. The unlawful carrying of a weapon is a Class A misdemeanor.
Last December, Williams was involved in an accident not far from the team’s practice facility in which his car was totaled. A month later, he was cited for misdemeanor reckless driving and, according to Plano Police, was driving close to 100 mph in a 55 mph zone and weaving through traffic before the accident.”
Williams is pretty good. He was their 2nd round draft pick last year, a 6’4″ d-end out of Ole Miss. He only got 15-25 defensive snaps per game (he also played special teams) but still finished with 22 tackles, four sacks, nine QB hits, and 10 tackles for loss. A quick perusal of his game log reveals only one game played against the Eagles, with zero statistics registered, but he’s 3rd/4th on the Cowboy’s depth chart this year behind DeMarcus Lawrence and Micah “I actually want to play for the Eagles” Parsons.
These are serious allegations and we are taking them seriously. Williams must serve at least a two game suspension, November 5th and December 10th ideally.
