A member inside the Cowboys organization says that this is not the case yet. It may be the case soon, but it has not officially transpired.

The Cowboys need to get on top of this. Set the record straight. If you’re gonna fire these guys, fire them.
Here’s Rap Sheet checking in:
#Cowboys coach Jason Garrett met with his players today prior to meeting with owner Jerry Jones. He did not tell them he and the organization were parting ways, but he did thank them for their efforts and called it a privilege to coach them. Garrett well aware of what’s next.

Yeah? Let’s get an official announcement so we can officially laugh at the Dallas Cowboys.
Jane Slater:
Multiple sources tell me Jason Garrett met w coaches/assistants today & addressed those with expiring contracts. He told them, “as you well know you can look for work elsewhere” & this would be “sorted out in the 24-48 hours”. Jerry Jones hasn’t informed anyone they’re fired yet
