Dallas Sports Anchor Accurately Assesses the Cowboys

You might remember Dallas sports anchor Dale Hansen. He made an appearance on this site last year after calling out the hypocrisy of Jerry Jones’ national anthem stance by pointing out that Cowboy players “can beat up a woman” and still play for the team.
This week he was at it again, explaining why he thinks that this disappointing, 8-8 Dallas season is a metaphor for American life in 2020:
“There's not an empty seat in AT&T Stadium to watch the losing Cowboys play, but it hasn't always been that way.”

Says Hansen:
“Now, no matter how many outrageous claims to greatness the man in charge will make, so many he appears to be delusional at times, the lies they tell, the questions they refuse to answer, the laws and rules they break, the incompetent people they hire, only to be fired, it’s never their fault. It’s the fault of the critic who dares to question their greatness.”
I’m gonna go ahead and agree with Dale Hansen. I could not have said it better myself.
