Dan Orlovsky is Now an Enemy of the Tush Push

Add Dan Orlovsky to the list of people who are now enemies of the Tush Push:
This is bullshit. In no way should it be the Eagles’ fault that the refs can’t officiate the Tush Push. If that’s the case, then get rid of the forward pass because they suck at reffing pass interference and roughing the passer. Get rid of the running game because a ref missed a hold. Get rid of the QB sneak, too. They screwed up on the play Sunday. It happens. It should’ve been a fumble just like Jaxson Dart’s fumble later in the game should’ve been before being overturned. Referees make a ton of mistakes every game. If we banned something every time they fucked up we wouldn’t have football. I just can’t believe people are siding with officials. Can you believe that? It’s like siding with the government every time you get a paycheck. Thank you for that city wage tax, sir. May I have another? I mean, the refs got together after the play and still decided to award the Eagles forward progress. THAT IS NOT THE EAGLES’ PROBLEM! It’s more likely a referee hubris problem than it is a Tush Push problem. They could’ve awarded a fumble. The whistle clearly blew early. But no, instead the refs seem too worried about looking like idiots so instead they made up that they blew it dead for forward progress. That’s not the Eagles’ fault. That crew was brutal for both teams:
The argument that referees are struggling to officiate the Tush Push might be the worst one of them all, but it seems like it’ll be the most effective for it’s demise. That’s going to be crazy to look back on in a couple decades. A play that was so good and unstoppable that it was banned because the referees routinely screwed it up. They routinely screw up a bunch of calls every week in the NFL. If anything, the Eagles should be heralded for bringing to light the NFL’s terrible officiating problem.
