The Washington Post just published an exclusive about the House Oversight Committee looking into the Washington Commies. Daniel Snyder’s team “may have engaged in a troubling, long-running, and potentially unlawful pattern of financial conduct” –

How ironic is it going to be that an owner of a team named the Commies could be removed for unlawful distribution of wealth practices? Isn’t life funny?

I don’t know how Dan Snyder weasels his way out of this one. There are two powerful organizations in this country you don’t fuck with – the NFL and the government. Withholding money from other teams and your season ticket holders FOR THE LAST DECADE has to be the death knell:

Not to mention the Broncos have a grocery list of potential buyers who would snuff out their first born for an opportunity to own a franchise.

This is quite the predicament if you’re an Eagles fan, huh? Yes Dan Snyder is a scumbag. An all around con-artist who made a lot of his money conning others before buying the Commies. But think of the long term play. As long as Dan Snyder owns the team they’re always going to be a laughingstock. Maybe the Philadelphia Inquirer can get Jeff McLane or Josh Tolentino to leak out some public records from the United Way to show the millions Snyder has donated. I’m sure he didn’t under-report those numbers. Just maybe we do one positive Dan Snyder fluff piece to soften the blow a little. Think about it, Jeff.
