Darius Slay Can’t be Serious Doing the “Incomplete” Motion After Wide-Open Bucs Player Drops a TD Pass

Yeah look, I don’t know if Slay got cooked here or if someone else blew an assignment, but don’t do the “incomplete” motion after a guy drops a wide-open touchdown pass when you’re nowhere near him:
Incredible goal line stand by the Eagles defense. That’s one of the more impressive plays I’ve seen from them today. pic.twitter.com/GsFh8c9VPF

This is the kind of shit that turns you into an angry WIP caller. Jalen Mills used to do this all the time. An opposing quarterback would throw the ball 10 yards out of bounds and he’d get up and wag the finger as if he had something to do with it. But when you went back and watched the replay, he was totally cooked and nowhere in a position to make a play. Great job, Izel! I’m sure Big Play Slay will tell us all about this play on his podcast this week.
