This is the most delusional cope:

“I thought we were gonna dog ’em. I’m not even gonna lie to you… I thought it was gonna be a slugfest and we were gonna get it at the end, to be honest, because the only matchup, I was like, ‘our line is a little banged up.’ But beyond that, I wasn’t tripping about nothing else, to be honest… That 49ers Super Bowl team was better than that Eagles team.”

Charles Omenihu played for the 49ers before he went to the Chiefs, so of course he’s biased. Most of those guys are his former teammates. He hates the Birds because he got his ass kicked twice, once in the 2023 NFC Championship game (2 tackles, 1 QB hit) and once in the 2025 Super Bowl (3 tackles, 1 TFL).

Objectively speaking, that 49ers team went 12-5 in the regular season with losses to Cleveland, Minnesota, Cincy, Baltimore, and then the backups lost to the Rams, so that’s a N/A. They got past the Packers and Lions in the playoffs by a field goal in each game. The Birds’ Super Bowl team went 14-3, lost a fugazi game with Kenny Pickett in there, then hammered the Commanders and Chiefs in the playoffs while beating their other two playoff opponents by 12 points and 6 points.

The 2024 Eagles probably beat the 2023 Niners 6 times out of 10 on a neutral field, with both at full health. Both teams were great teams, but the Birds were better. San Fran blew their Super Bowl in overtime while the Eagles absolutely annihilated the Chiefs and pulled the starters. It wasn’t even close!

BTW, Omenihu is a Washington Commander now. This guy is gonna get throttled by the Birds AGAIN.
