An MRI revealed that Eagles’ DE Derek Barnett suffered a season-ending torn ACL during Sunday’s win over the Detroit Lions, per source.

Well that blows. No matter how you feel about Derek Barnett, having him as a depth piece to spell the other ends was at least serviceable. Most likely this ends the Barnett era in Philly. We’ll always have the Super Bowl fumble recovery. It’ll be interesting to see where his snaps go. He only played 12 on Sunday.
